My Local Makers

I’ve partnered up with four beautiful and authentic makers, all based right here in Manchester, to add the most incredible add on goodies to my shop. These beautiful handmade items are the perfect additions to all of your bunches!

I’m very proud to say that ALL of the chosen makers are female owned, fully independent, eco conscious and totally inspired by nature… all things which are super close to my own heart, and need shouting about louder than ever before.

NOA is a fully Manchester based and 100% vegan candle brand, founded and run by Natasha.

Having reached out to Natasha earlier in the year, I’m in complete awe of the business she has single handedly built. With her kind hearted, dedicated and enthusiastic approach towards being a small business owner, she embodies many qualities that I personally aspire to. I’m so glad to be able to include her product in my Shop!

NOA’s candles are all handmade by Natasha using natural soy wax and lead-free braided wicks, and scented using a blend of the purest essential oils and cruelty free, phthalate-free fragrance oils.

Natasha wicks, labels, pours and packs every single soy wax candle herself in her Manchester studio. She also sources all of her recyclable and biodegradable materials (from product to packaging) from UK suppliers too. As no animal, human or our planet should ever have to suffer for great smelling treats, ever.

Please let me introduce the lovely Nina! And the best vegan chocolate in all of Manchester

This super talented woman has been so warm, kind and supportive throughout my whole journey, and I’m so happy she has agreed to come on board as part of the Bryonia Gift collaboration.

The process of bean to bar is a real labour of love which Nina currently runs from Heaton Chapel in Manchester. She sources her beans from co-operatives that work closely with farms around the world, who pay a much better amount for their products.

Once the beans arrive, Nina personally hand sorts, roasts, cracks, winnows (removing the shells), grinds, tempers and then moulds them into delicious bars. She loves experimenting with flavours and using inspiration from different seasons, cultures, trips and foods. Born Chocolate also have an experimental 'Lab' range, which start as limited edition bars, and if popular then they are added the ongoing range.

The lovely Sarah has been utterly amazing to work with, and all of her handmade soaps are wonderful!

Much of Sarah’s inspiration comes from the beautiful great outdoors and powerful natural world, which really resonated with me. Her approach to running a small business is refreshing, warming and like a breath of fresh air.

Sarah hand makes every single bar from an old church in Manchester. All her products are vegan, palm oil free and have a base of coconut oil & shea butter. A variety of natural additives (hemp oil, essential oils, minerals, plant powders, fruit peels, seeds) are added to certain soaps for colour, fragrance and decoration.

Fellow Mancunian Harley is super talented at her craft, and I couldn’t help but lust after so many of her textile products.

The lovely Harley studied Embroidery at Sheffield where she honed her skills, and since moving to Manchester has applied her creative expertise to a unique range of gifts & homewares.

All of Theharleythread’s creations are unique, one off pieces, and handcrafted right here in Manc. The range of colourful, bold and high quality pieces are stunning, and even more special because of all the time Harley dedicates to each of them.

Her punch needle purses are made using 100% cotton yarn, linen, and natural unused offcuts which eliminates fabric waste. Theharleythread is conscious of their fabric choices and the impacts these have on our world, which made them a perfect partner for Bryonia.
